We ALWAYS keep your contact details and true identity confidential (in fact, you don't even have to disclose your true identity, even to us!). We NEVER reveal your email address to anyone. So, you can register in the knowledge that your privacy will be maintained.

Affairs4U will never appear on any bank or credit card statement. It will always show a different name that would not be obviously linked to our website (for example: ‘1711 Trading’).

Other Tips:

Setup a new email account separate from your everyday account

Think about getting a separate mobile number, so that people you meet through Affairs4U can contact on your new number only. Be careful of where you meet – try not to meet where you have a chance of seeing someone you know. Also, always have a plausible explanation for being there in case you do bump into someone unexpectedly.

Below are instructions to prevent someone from knowing you have visited Affairs4U.com. After you have read these instructions and understand what to do, please close/quit your internet browser. Restart your browser making sure you are not currently on Affairs4U and then follow the instructions to clear your cache:

Internet Explorer

• Select "Internet Options" under the "View" or "Tools" option (depending on the version you are running) on the toolbar.
• Under the "General" folder under "Internet Options", there is a section called "History". Change the "Days to keep pages in History:" to 0 and click the "Clear History" button.
• Click "Apply" at the bottom of the "Internet Options" box, then click "OK"
• To double check that everything is cleared, click the "History" button on the web browser toolbar - it should be empty. Also, click the arrow on the right of the URL Address box - it should be empty as well.

Macintosh

• In Internet Explorer 4 or above, open the Edit menu, and then click on Preferences.
• Double click on "Web Browser" until the list drops down.
• Select "Advanced."
• You will see a box called "Cache," and click on "Empty Now" button.
• Click "OK," then Quit from Internet Explorer and restart your computer if you need to.

Netscape

• From the Options menu, select General Preferences then the Appearance tab.
• Click "Expire now" to immediately clear the history file.

Netscape Communicator:

• From the Edit menu, select Preferences then the Navigator category in the list along the left side of the window.
• Click on "Expire now" to immediately clear the history file. With Netscape closed, search your computer for the history file and delete it. The next time you open the browser, the file will be recreated.
• For Windows (all versions), the file is called netscape.hst
• For Macintosh, the file is called global history
• For Unix (all versions), the file is called history.dat

• Any messages to other members

5. Your profile will need to be completed in full. It will be reviewed by a member of the administration team and you will be advised by email of the outcome.

6. In communicating with other members, you must not use language or behaviour that may be considered;

• Threatening
• Offensive
• Bullying
• Harassment
• Libellous
• Racist

7. You must not use the site for;

• promoting other sites, services or business
• scamming or spamming
• posting junk mail or chain mail
• acting on behalf of non members or other members in any way

8. Men should not attempt to gain free full membership through dishonest means. We take this very seriously and may refer you to our fraud department for further action.
